Stitch Fix Review #4
Hello Friday 🙂 It’s Friday and it is a Stitch Fix Review Day. What can be better? Oh wait it’s National Doughnut Day too! On top of all of that summer is here! The week can not end more perfect than that.
I am very happy to report that Jennifer my stylist hit it out of the park again. She read through my notes I left her and sent some of my requests. The most exciting part was getting a pair of shoes.

Before we get started.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and their personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You can buy what you like and return the rest (shipping is free both ways).
How does Stitch fix Work?
Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps Stitch Fix understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your Profile should only take about 10-15 minutes. Select a delivery date from the calendar. It takes about a week if you want something last minute.
At the time your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Try everything on in the comfort of your home. Buy what you like and return the rest.
The great thing about Stitch Fix is that they have something for practically everybody. From women’s to men’s and even maternity clothes.
Now back to those shoes.
Dolce Vita Jaz Printed Slide Sandal
If you could know one thing about me it is that I love crazy accessories of any kind! So getting my first pair of shoes was very exciting for me.
I requested shoes from my stylist and was happy to see that she was able fill my request. There was two problems with these shoes. They were $75 and the straps across the top were too big. Note: if you have problems finding sandals that fit or you wear wide width shoes these sandals are for you. They even have elastic to help them expand more. Back they went, but I did love the fun print and color.
Next up Jennifer sent an entire outfit to go with these shoes. Actually two outfits. I requested a very casual skirt and she delivered.
Colette Abree Aline Skirt
But the skirt seemed very thin. Not thin you can see through but thin you can see every lump and bump. I felt like I needed Spanx under it to smooth everything out. That wasn’t the point of a very casual skirt. It also had pockets and you know how I love anything with pockets 🙁 Oh well, Jennifer we will try again!
Kaileigh Nordica Back Detail Top
Jennifer suggested pairing the shoes, skirt and this gorgeous top. It looked awesome together. Both skirt and top were in the mid $30’s so it would have been a bargain outfit. By Stitch Fix standards. The top was beautiful. It looks exactly the same in real life as it does in this picture. I really and I mean really wanted to keep this top but I have a pink top already. I am hoping that Jennifer can find me one in a different color. Look at the detail on the back.
Realm Livvy Fray Hem Denim Short
Keeping the pink top on and the shoes Jennifer suggested I could pair both with the distressed shorts. The shorts were true to size and fit perfect. They are a size 6 for reference. My issues were that they were a high rise. They came above my belly button. It makes me feel like I am wearing mom jeans. So back they went.
I saved the best for last.
Papermoon Mensier Spaghetti Strap Top
I have been on a white jean kick. This top was the first item in my box that my eyes went to. As soon as I pulled it out two things went through my mind. This is a keeper! My second thought was white jeans, heels and a yellow clutch. Urban and me had friends come in from Des Moines and we was going out with them over the weekend. I knew I was wearing this top!
There is two reasons to love this top. The fine print and the detail in the back. Which is adjustable. So you don’t have to worry about the sides of your bra showing. LOVED 🙂 Fit like a dream.
