Hello, I know it’s Wednesday what is Stitch Fix popping up on my blog today? I got a Stitch Fix box earlier this month and I have been putting off writing this article. I am not sure why, just procrastination I guess. Relate? Without further ado, here is my Stitch Fix Review July 2017.
If you have read my previous post from June you know that I got a new stylist. She really listened to my feed back and she rocked it on this box.

What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and their personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You can buy what you like and return the rest (shipping is free both ways).
How does Stitch fix Work?
Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps Stitch Fix understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your Profile should only take about 10-15 minutes. Select a delivery date from the calendar. It takes about a week if you want something last minute.
At the time your Stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Try everything on in the comfort of your home. Buy what you like and return the rest.
The great thing about Stitch Fix is that they have something for practically everybody. From women’s to men’s and even maternity clothes.
Okay back to my review. Unfortunately, there was many issues with this Stitch Fix box. I requested accessories and Blake did not disappoint. I received three different pieces along with two pieces of clothing.
Usually I save the best for last but this set the tone for the entire box.
Skies Are Blue Kaela Romper
I loved, loved this romper. It was a little dressier which was perfect. I wanted this for a vacation that I am taking later this month. This is not a wear with kiddos outfit. I have a 22 month old. Wiggling out of a romper in a bathroom stale while trying to keep him from touching anything. I am cringing just thinking about it.
The only issue that I had was the length. You can’t really tell in the picture but it was too short in the torso area. So I tried exchanging this for a bigger size and they were out. In fact they were out of every size but this one 🙁 So it went back.
I said this set the tone for the rest of the box. Well, the next item was a necklace.
Romolo Genevieve Stacked Chevron Pendant Necklace
The reason I don’t have a picture with it on is because it was broke when it came in the box. Stitch Fix was really great about it though they offered to send me a replacement and also I forgot to mention since the romper wasn’t available in my size they would honor the 25% discount on the remaining items.
The reason I didn’t take it is because of the next item.
August Mist Tullock Cold Shoulder Top
Urban Expressions Diana Clutch
Towne & Reese Tassel Earrings
I did not notice until just now how see through the shirt was, I like the top of this shirt but it seemed to flare out around my hips. And that is the reason the whole box went back 🙁 Because I couldn’t buy a top that I didn’t love. Even though all of the accessories that she sent I absolutely saw myself wearing and using.
If you read my blog you know my hubby’s name is Urban. And I can’t help it every time I get an Urban Expressions piece I think I like it just because of the name 🙂 I love this clutch. In fact I am coining a new term, sender’s back remorse. I have asked Blake to send this again if she can. The color is very true in the picture. It would be perfect year around. It is a very pretty mustard yellow. I am going to miss this clutch.
The last piece is a pair of tassel earrings. Urban hated them and I loved them! He said I was too old for this trend. Umm, yes we are still married. The only issue I had with them is that I really didn’t have anything that matched them. I have requested that Blake send them in a different color. I can’t wait to see if she can find another pair for me. And Urban, blah blah blah. Not to old!
And that is how for the very first time my entire box got sent back. As soon as these were in the mailbox I was requesting another box! I am really hoping that the next box the clothes will fit a little better.
My new stylist is awesome. Blake has really done a great job these last two boxes and I can’t wait to see what she sends next!
